We were seriously impressed.

Wow!! Look at those bins!
Warm fuzzy recycling feeling…
what’s the deal with the “private” 1st floor? we got kicked off those comfy black chairs the other day
Wow, only seeing this now but the place looks amazing.
I didn’t realise the department of English are there too. Brilliant news, now lots of people will get the chance to use the building.
Does the water out the front have fountains in it? It’s probably going to end up as a drunken swimming pool for people!
We’ll have a piece with the full details on the new building soon.
It’s not a Postgrad building. For one thing the Department of English will be located there, as will Media Studies, An Foras Feasa and NIRSA.
It’s the Humanities & Social Sciences building and it’s AWESOME. Can’t wait until it’s properly finished and all the tech is installed
The new lecture hall is cool, with the projector room and sockets/ethernet ports. But it seems smaller than JH1 and even Callan Hall
It’s true!
Ha! Tara, When I took the photo we were thinking about you!
Is it bad that I got excited over the colour coded recycling bins?
You don’t have to answer that :p
Excellent post. Building looks beautiful, pity they couldn’t throw up a canteen as quick
WordPress site looks the business,a really nice effort. Blog format SU site FTW, nice to see some engagement.
Word of the year should be engagement lads, stick it on the water cooler on a post-it note.
(Speaking as Rob Munnelly, not as VP Comms and Dev)
Looks like, but may well not be the same chair: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/S29830470
The bookcases look really really like my own (I have three!) and I got those from Ikea.
How much for one of those black leather chairs?
Wow! Is the building entirely for post grads or will all students be allowed in? It looks amazing!
Looks amazing
Hmm, those L things might be flowerbeds? They look quite deep for water features…Part of the whole indoor-outdoor aesthetic?
Looking great! Good website btw.
It looks pretty amazing from the photos. Very aesthetically pleasing too.
Wow, just wow, fabulous!
Those ‘L’ shaped concrete things in pictures 20 and 21 are – we think – water features.
The massive lecture hall has to be seen to be believed. And there were sockets for laptops built into the desks.
