MUCK is Back

Have you ever wanted to see parts of the world that most people never see? Ever wanted to be able to ride a perfect wave, or feel in control of the awesome power of a river? Ever imagined yourself falling headfirst over a waterfall, with nothing but the roar of the water in your ears?
The Maynooth University Canoe and Kayak club (MUCK) is back in full swing for the new year. One of NUIM’s largest clubs, MUCK welcomes people of all abilities to the fantastic and fun sport of kayaking. Never been in a boat before? Not to worry – our experienced members are more than happy to share their knowledge and teach you everything you need to know to be a confident paddler. Been paddling for years? Great! Come on down to play and share your stories with us!
MUCK is planning several weekends away for the coming year, with destinations all over Ireland. We train every Monday and Wednesday in the pool on South Campus from 7-9pm, and we provide all the gear you’d ever need. Just bring your friends, swimming gear, and a towel, and we’ll provide boats, paddles, and world-class instruction.
